The death of a roe       We ran across a brief article about a roe that had been literally snatched from the teeth of and pack of stray dogs by some unidentified person, who delivered the poor animal at the Skryabin Veterinary Academy, Moscow.       We immediately located the surgeon who had operated on the roe and made arrangements with a TVC camera crew for the following morning. As it turned out, the next morning the roe died. Shooting was canceled. However, in a few days, millions of people did see the tousled roe in the news telecasts. The chief physician of the vet clinic Admitted that he had filmed fragments of the operation on photographic and video film.
